LSI:Unoptimized Keywords Gaining Ranks

LSI for unoptimized keywords

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is a method wherein a set of words or related words of documents or groups of documents are realized through understanding relationship between terms and hidden meanings. LSI is like a mathematical equation to draw out a matrix of words analysis to find and generate results for same key terms.

LSI can be very complicated in nature. It has been used for different purposes but mostly on search engines such as Google. Google wanted to provide most relevant results to queries. Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) plays a vital role in making the SERP decide what websites to show up in response to a certain query. However, words can be highly related to each other. For example, if you are searching for tires, could it be same with flat tires, vehicle tire and many other words semantic or have closely the same meanings.

LSI is an important part of indexing. It examines which documents the keyword is contained and to what other documents the same keyword can be found. This method considers that document with many common words are semantically close and otherwise, if not. Just like human understanding, the document with same words can mean the same thing, however, LSI can’t read the meaning of the word or the document it is incorporated but it can associate one document relevant to same keyword of other documents.

How to increase page relevancy?

Mix Anchor Text
• Use Related Terms for Optimization
• This has been used using long tail keywords. That is how it works for Alseoblog. Related terms will send signal to Google that documents containing keywords for Alseoblog will be semantic with long tail keywords probably present in some other documents.

To be included in latent semantic indexing, SEO campaign should focus on the wider net of related keywords because it will generate stable rank for core keyword and extend ranks to a wider net of keywords. Relevance is the key. Google algorithm knows how to read the contents of the keywords and not the stand alone ones. Semantic searching allows Google to have its ontology of words.
