ALSEOBLOG Is Back After Over 5 Years!

It was December 18, 2009 when I first began AlSEOBlog, and interestingly I wrote about quality SEO practices.

Aside from my first posts about Panda and Penguin updates, I also shared some information about Google Penalty Recovery. This website is not just about search engine optimization – if you guys remember, I also gave helpful tips regarding social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest and many more.

Now that I’m back (for good!), I want to further share what I learned in the past years to all my loyal readers. Think of as my online digital marketing journal.

I’m definitely glad to be back and hopefully, you guys are, too!

Expect New Things

The main reason why I haven’t updated this blog for about seven months is because of other priorities. I’ve been writing a LOT on my other site, plus I am also busy with guest posting requests as well as client demands. However, I’m all pumped and ready to challenge myself!

From now on, expect better, BIGGER things as I share results of my experiments, recent findings, and personal experiences on this blog!

Here’s a quick rundown of what to expect on the coming months’ posts:

SEO Updates. If you haven’t noticed it yet, Google has stopped announcing algorithm updates and refreshes. That means it’s up to us to observe and figure out the search engine’s next moves. But hey, that’s why I’m here. Allow me to keep you updated on all the latest algorithm changes (if I observe any), practical SEO tools, and the best practices for better efficiency as digital marketers. From time to time, I may also post my analysis about other websites – but this is simply to serve as an example we can all learn from.

Social Media Updates. Are you a social media marketer? Then stay tuned for my tips, tricks, and news about everything related to social media. I will cover your favorite platforms like Twitter and Facebook, as well as media-focused channels like Youtube.

Content Marketing Updates. Quality content will continuously play a huge role not only in SEO, but in every aspect of digital marketing in coming years. Already people are devouring all kinds of content through various mobile devices; it’s important to be a step ahead of the game by being in the know about what works – and what doesn’t – when it comes to the subject.

I’ll be sharing not only current news and updates about content, but also valuable advice on attracting audiences, getting user engagement, as well as important discoveries as I explore this field further with my content marketing team. During the months that I have been away, I gathered enough knowledge on how to provide the best content to different types of audiences. I look forward to sharing those insights with you soon!

Web Design and Development. In this day and age, it’s not enough to be just an SEO expert. That’s why aside from search engine optimization and social media marketing, I also delved into the fine world of web design and web development. As you may know, mobile usage has become highly in demand and thus, it prompted a need for responsive web design. If you’re currently exploring this trend, allow me to guide you through my own experiences with help from the best online tools and resources.

Paid Advertising. Inasmuch as organic traffic is nice and all, sometimes, we need to uncover the power of paid online advertising. Adwords and PPC for instance, offer wider reach to potential customers we may not even be aware of. I will cover this subject as well, along with personal examples.

Use of Other Media Like Images and Video. Digital marketing would not be complete without media. Images and video make the Web a more colorful, vibrant place. As I’m also experimenting on these aspects, let me shed some light on questions you may have regarding their development and proper usage.

Although I’ve made mistakes, this dynamic industry has taught me that persistence and clear goal-setting can achieve much. It doesn’t matter how many times you try – as long as you’re optimistic and determined, all things are possible.

You know what they say: ‘there’s no place like home’. In my case, there’s no better feeling than to know that we will all learn from each other once more. If you have questions regarding SEO, content or social media marketing, or about how to make a viral Youtube video, don’t hesitate to ask. Simply write in the comments section below OR drop me a line on my social media accounts.

Do YOU have any suggestions for my next blog update? Feel free to share them below. I look forward to hearing from you guys soon!

Thanks for reading.
